Dentistry with a difference We pride ourselves on providing quality general and family dental care. Regular check ups and visits for cleaning are central to our preventive plan to help and keep your teeth and gums healthy for a strong foundation. |

Regular check-ups are a must and form the basis of our dental care plan for you. Even with a good oral hygiene routine you can still develop dental problems that you may not be able to spot by yourself at home in the bathroom mirror. Prevention is better than cure and we recommend 6 monthly check ups and for those who require it- three monthly scale and polishing. Given the fact that we do not charge for NHS dental exams, why wait until something hurts and a more drastic and costly option is required. We use the latest pastes and polishes to remove any plaque and tartar, which cannot be removed by brushing or flossing alone. Patients are often amazed on how much smoother their teeth feel after a proper clean. We also educate you on the correct technique of brushing and flossing as well as offering advice on healthy eating and lifestyle (see oral hygiene instruction) |

On top of the wider treatment choice of private dentistry, the main difference is the type of material used in say fillings and laboratory made work (eg: crowns, dentures). Some patients do opt for lengthier, more frequent private visits to the hygienist (or dentist) if chosen by the patient. |

Most people pay for their dental treatment on a “pay as you go” basis, with care as not to fall behind in multiple visit cases- it can be a nasty surprise when left to the end! Our practices accept cash and card payments to make life easier in this current shift away form personal cheques. Many companies offer schemes where you have fixed payments, where they reimburse you on presentation of completed claim forms and receipts. |
